Randomness

I'm sitting at Starbucks watching all the interesting people coming in and out. Lots of good looking men. I look good but I should have dressed nicer. I should have dressed like I was either headed to or coming from the office. They wouldn't know the difference, right? And why shouldn't I play dress up? Why put myself in a box? Hmmm yes. You never know whom you might meet when you're out and about. I might run across my future employer, or future ex-boyfriend, so I should always dress the part.

I wonder how many of these couples are meeting for the first time.

I became very annoyed earlier by an elderly woman who was crowding me at the register. I wanted to elbow her out of my way. I think I need to get out of my house more.

This environment reminds me of DCC. I hear a timer going off on a coffee pot. The kids working behind the counter are laughing loudly. I always had to tell my staff that I wanted them to have a good time, but not at the expense of annoying the customers! But really I felt great knowing they loved being at work. Most of my 20+ employees enjoyed working there and became good friends outside of work.

I'm trying not to get my hopes up too much about this ad sales director job. I feel good about it though. I feel confident. Lots of good signs that are in my favor. In reality, I am EXCITED about it! Not just because it's a job, but because it's a job I'd really love to have! But I'm also trying to keep in mind that if I don't get it, there is a reason. God has something better planned for me.

Somebody please turn that timer off!

Half the kids and grandkids are coming over for dinner tonight. Spaghetti, bread, wine! I still need to buy the groceries.

A woman at the next table has spent the last 20 minutes telling her two friends about the latest events on The Bachelor! They keep telling her they don't care, but she won't shut up. I'm about to shut her up.
I told you, I need to get out more.

And that's all I have...but here are some Fun Fotos for you.

One of my favorite pics of Tay and me - in a Dolores, CO saloon - summer, 2007.
